Terry’s Handyman Services

One person, lots of small jobs, and customers who need to trust who’s coming into their home. This single-page site feels like a note from Terry himself, with proof and a friendly next step in the very first view.

What it shows

  • A handwritten note, so the first step feels like talking to Terry, not filling in a form
  • Reviews in the first view, because trust comes before everything else
  • A before-and-after slider that shows the difference a finished job makes
  • Every service leads to one short form, already filled in, so asking takes seconds

Car owners worry about surprise bills and jargon. This calm, confident site for an independent workshop is built around one promise: we explain before we fix.

What it shows

  • Service cards that turn over to explain each job in plain words before anyone books
  • An inspect, explain, approve process that shows the customer stays in charge of the cost
  • The team introduced by name, so customers know who’s working on their car
  • An enquiry form that remembers the chosen service and helps fix mistakes, so fewer enquiries go astray

Clearflow Plumbing Solutions

Someone with a leak wants reassurance and a quick way to book. This crisp three-page site (home, services and booking) puts both in the first view, with one bright blue for every next step.

What it shows

  • A call bar that keeps the phone number and booking button in view, however far you scroll
  • Four promises and a review up front, to settle nerves before the detail
  • Six services named by the everyday problems they fix, each booking straight in, so someone with one job doesn’t have to read them all
  • A three-step booking form that remembers the service and urgency, so booking stays quick

A demo catch your eye?

Tell me about your business and we’ll work out what yours should look like.

The thinking

Every trade has three core questions.

What do you do? Why should I choose you? How do I get in touch? Each demo answers them in its own way, shaped by the business and the people it serves.

One trusted person, and a friendly first step.

What do you do?
Small jobs around the home: repairs, putting things together and the little jobs that keep getting put off.
Why should I choose you?
Customers say he turns up on time, is friendly and does a great job. Three reviews show it straight away.
How do I get in touch?
Tap “Connect with me” and tell him what needs doing in a short form.

Next up: solar.

An early visual direction for a solar installer. It’s a visual concept, not a working website yet, so it opens as a larger preview.

Your turn

Let’s work out what yours should say.

Tell me about your business and the people you do the work for. I’ll listen first, then suggest a sensible next step.
